Asian Art: In the National Gallery of Victoria

Asian Art: In the National Gallery of Victoria
In part, due to Australia's geography, and because of the diligence and sensitivity of its collectors, the National Gallery has been an important repository of art from the nations of Asia. This book features major works from its magnificent collections from China, Japan, India and Southeast Asia. A number of the pieces have not been seen outside this part of the world, and the eclectic array is being brought together for the first time. The book is from a group of beautiful, new publications celebrating NGV's collections and the Gallery's building and expansion.
