An illustrated survey of the experimental world of digital art explores the ways in which traditional painting and sculpture have been significantly changed by digital technologies, citing the emergence of such new forms as net art, digital installation, and virtual reality and providing examples and analyses of numerous diverse forms.

Myfanwy Ashmore - Myfanwy Ashmore born in North York, Ontario, Canada in 1970 is a Canadian conceptual artist who has been involved in information art, new media art, gameart, video art, interactive art, internet art since 1995. She studied at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design, in 1990, graduated from the Sculpture-Installation department at the Ontario College of Art in 1996, and received her MFA from York University in 1998.
